Job summary
The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is looking for an experienced dynamic and organised senior physiotherapist - clinical manager to lead and inspire the neuro-spinal rehabilitation therapy team. Main duties of the job
The role:
- To demonstrate leadership within the Therapy department in providing outstanding rehabilitation to Patients on an individual and group basis according to the agreed goals and objectives.
- To work with the Director of Operations and Clinical Services and wider Executive team to support the development of services within RBH, to ensure that the hospital is a leader in rehabilitation services.
- To work to ensure the patient receives the best possible rehabilitation, fostering excellent communication and ensuring consistency between the ward and therapy team.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary working across the Hospital and to work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments in the Hospital.
- To support positive team working both internally and externally.
- To provide management support and guidance to the Therapy Department.
- To assist with the development and delivery of training for junior staff.

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital was established in Aylesbury in 1832. and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region.

Extensive rejuvenation of the estate and updating of the clinical facilities has already started. Phase one of the projects includes refurbishment of the outpatient area and reception. Phase 2 includes construction and set up of a comprehensive radiology service including CT and MRI, construction of operating theatre and endoscopy suites.
