Job summary
You will bring your skills and knowledge to the Practice, having at least 12 months supervisory experience in a GP Practice or NHS . In return we offer a great benefits package and career development opportunities!
Your role will be to support the Practice Manager in managing and coordinating all aspects of Practice functionality on a day to day basis. You will support, motivate and guide colleagues to deliver optimum efficiencies in a safe and effective environment for Patients, Colleagues and Visitors. You will contribute and support the Practice Manager in the delivery of project work, longer term strategic objectives, succession planning and business continuity plans.
Main duties of the job
Day-to-day operations of the Practice, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities
Direct line management of Patient Advisor/Administration Team
Ensuring LTI and other dedicated training time is well utilised and meaningful
Timely completion and communication of all practice staff rotas
Ensure adequate clinical staffing at all times, including the recruitment of locum ad- hoc GPs and ANPs, whilst monitoring/reviewing costs for appointed sessions
New starter/leaver administration
Meet QOF and all other locally determined targets through your administration team and with support from the Practice Manager and wider team
Actively encourage and promote the use of Patient Online Services
Supporting the management and development of the Patient Participation Group
Attend and contribute to internal and external stakeholder meetings

Rock Healthcare is a long established, forward thinking and dynamic GP Practice currently serving around 9,500 patients. We are based at Moorgate Primary Care Centre in Bury as well as Radcliffe Primary Care Centre. Both sites are modern, purpose-built premises containing a variety of primary care services to meet the needs of the local population. We are proud to be a teaching Practice for Medical Students, Nursing Students, Health Care Assistants and GP Trainees, and are committed to the continued development of our teams.
