Job summary

New opportunities have arisen within our busy 24/7 Operations Department: Patient Coordinators £10.90 - £12.00 per hour dependent on shift worked+ NHS Pension + Attendance Bonus Days + Blue Light Discount Card Overnight Supervisor £14.40 per hour+ NHS Pension +Attendance Bonus Days + Blue Light Discount Card. Various shift patterns are available including evenings, weekends and overnights.

Patient Coordinator roles are located across Bury, Bolton and Rochdale. ***The Overnight Supervisor role is based at Bury Head Office only.***

Main duties of the job

To fulfil efficient call handling, dispatching, administration and reception duties, working as a member of the BARDOC Operations Team.

LOCATION: Bolton / Bury / Rochdale

RESPONSIBLE TO: Service Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To fulfil efficient call handling, dispatching, administration and reception duties, working as a member of the BARDOC Operations Team.

Core duties and responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities which follows, represents the broad range of tasks which may be required to be undertaken either routinely or periodically:

Answer telephone calls from the general public and Healthcare Professionals in a courteous, helpful and professional manner

Accurate recording of patient data in line with GDPR protocols

Despatch home visits to BARDOC Visiting Services

Manage the bookings of Treatment Centre appointments.

Ensure effective comfort calling to patients when required

Liaise and collaborate with other external multi-disciplinary teams, such as Hospitals,

Pharmacies, Nursing Services, and Ambulance & Police

Any other duties reasonably falling within the nature of this post
