You will be responsible for ensuring all members of the clinical team comply with their statutory training requirements and support the effective healthcare governance process and ensure care quality standards.
The role will require autonomy and ability to undertake training independently.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the planning and delivering clinical skills training, ensuring there is a recognised sign off process.
Responsible for ensuring all members of the clinical team comply with all statutory training requirements whilst supporting the effective healthcare governance process and ensuring care quality standards
Responsible for ensuring all new team members receive appropriate inductions and develop appropriate induction programs
Provide support and guidance to individual members of the clinical teams required.
Ensuring the clinical team is competent and confident in their role.
Use evidence based and research information to update and develop learning materials
Responsible for overseeing clinical placements. Providing mentorship and coaching as required.
Work collaboratively with the Director of Hospice at Home and the Director of Wellbeing to review and update clinical training packages and develop educational sessions ensuring responsiveness to the changing needs in clinical practice highlighted by complaints, incidents or national guidance.
To be the named assessor, to shadow and assess the practical clinical skills competencies for HealthCare Assistants undertaking their NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Maintain up to date knowledge ensuring compliance with own professional requirements.
Ensure training records are maintained and remain up to date.
Provide regular reports to the Head of HR.
