We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated
nursing support professional to assist in our Dermatology, ENT, and Vasectomy
clinics.
This role offers the
opportunity to work across both NHS and private settings, supporting our
clinical teams in delivering high-quality care.
The role is offered on a Flexible Worker
Contract, ideal for experienced HCAs or Registered Nurses looking to
complement existing commitments. Hours
are offered on an ad hoc basis, depending on service demand. Salary is competitive and based on experience
and qualifications.

Key
Responsibilities
- Chaperone and assist during examinations and
minor procedures
- Support ENT GPs with Extended Roles (GPwERs)
in outpatient clinics, ensuring equipment is sterilised and infection control
protocols are followed
- Monitor and assist in managing clinic stock
levels
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of
consulting and treatment rooms
- Report faults or non-compliance promptly
- Uphold high standards of patient care in line
with operational policies and national guidelines
- Enhance service user satisfaction through
excellent customer service
- Advocate for patient wellbeing and continuously

Job responsibilities
- Provision of support and
assistance with Dermatology and Vasectomy minor surgery procedures and ENT
clinics.
- Provision of general nursing
duties e.g. supporting clinician with dressings, equipment availability, room
set up/clean down.
- The maintenance of
information to patients.
- Monitoring of medical supplies stock, including
stock rotation at the different clinical sites.
Inform the Stock Nurse of stock requirements, out of date stock and
other stock related matters.
- Engage, interact with
carers/family encouraging them to be actively involved in patients care.
- Assist clinical staff to
arrange appropriate prompt follow up as necessary e.g. in the event of
infection or other post-operative complications.
- Record high quality notes of patient assessment data
into the electronic patient record system in a timely manner.
- Liaise
with the Sentinel Administration Team to arrange appropriate follow up
appointments /actions /discharge
- Monitoring of and reporting
of medical equipment issues / faults identified at clinics.
- Liaise with maintenance services for servicing
and repair of equipment and arrange replacement equipment where required. Inform the Operations Manager of all
equipment issues.
- Undertake the cleaning and
sterilisation of specialist ENT equipment (nasendoscope) during ENT outpatient clinics,
in line with national decontamination processes.
- Prepare clinical rooms with functioning
equipment and stock to ensure the smooth running of clinics.
- Ensure
that clinical rooms are clean and meet required cleanliness standards prior to
clinics and clean down appropriately following clinics. Restock and prepare rooms for following
clinics.
- Ensure
that local and national infection control procedures are followed. Report issues to the Infection Control Lead
Nurse and Senior Management Team.
- To attend and contribute at Corporate, Clinical
Governance and other meetings as required.
- Work safely at all times in
accordance with Legislative requirements and Sentinel Policy and Procedures.
Maintaining and keeping up to date with local and national guidance within your

mandatory e-learning and face to face training as required within the specified
