Were looking for a Nightingale Navigator to join the team. You will support the direct delivery of our Nightingale services that supports the non-offending family and loved ones of survivors who are engaged in the Criminal Justice system.
Youll play a key role in supporting clients, managing communications and working in partnership with all Nightingale Project members. You will work closely with our Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, Community Development Co-Ordinators to provide support at different parts of a victims Criminal Justice journey, as well as supporting the development and delivery of community-based interventions for their families and loved ones. All staff have a thematic leadership area to expand the organisations knowledge in areas impacting male survivors and their loved ones.
Main duties of the job
To support the direct delivery of a trauma-informed GM wide RASSO group support service to non-offending
family and loved ones of victims/survivors who are engaged in the Criminal Justice System.
Support the team to deliver ISVA service to primary beneficiaries across Greater Manchester
(Community) and the North West prison estate.
Engage in peer-mentoring support to ISVA.
Accurately record ISVA interventions.
Engage with and attend relevant external meetings engage, influence and input accordingly.
Keep informed of changes in policy at local and national levels.
Undertake specific ISVA projects as directed by the Operational and/or Executive Leadership Team.
Schedule and manage the process of booking the Nightingale Suite for survivors to engage in the criminal justice process.

Provide a groupwork programme for loved ones educating on the criminal justice system / process.
Work within a multi-agency partnership to liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of
agencies in the care provided to clients.
Accurately record clinical interventions and maintain a high standard of record keeping.
Engage in monthly clinical supervision and regular Line Management as directed.
Provide accurate client reports to Nightingale leaders that represent the clients needs and wishes.
Undertake specific pathfinder projects as directed by your Line Manager.
Participation in the development and implementation of continuous service and system improvement.
Maintain appropriate professional registration (if applicable) and demonstrate commitment to statutory
codes of practice and continued professional development requirements
