Were looking for a results-driven Digital Content Marketing Executive to join our marketing and communications team. This role plays a key part in delivering digital marketing activity for the charity, with a primary focus on the SEO-led content roadmap and PR.

Main duties of the job

Youll be responsible for creating and optimising high-performing website content that drives organic traffic, increases engagement, and supports conversion goals. This includes developing press releases, coordinating interviews, and managing social media content. This role blends hands-on content creation with strategic execution and is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their digital content career.

Working closely with the Head of Brand and Communications, the Marketing Administrator, and colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure Tapping House's digital presence remains strong, consistent, and up-to-date, reflecting our brand values and supporting our brand repositioning efforts.

Job responsibilities

Content Planning & Creation

- SEO Content Delivery -Take primary responsibility for delivering our SEO content roadmap, writing and editing optimised, brand-aligned, and compliant copy for web pages, landing pages, and articles.

- Public Relations (PR) -Take ownership of creating press releases and coordinating interviews to build media presence and support the charity's mission.

- Social Copy - Manage and deliver our organic Facebook/LinkedIn content strategy to complement paid campaigns and engage audiences.

- Digital Content Activities - Ensure that all digital content (website, social media, and email newsletters) is accurate, timely, and regularly refreshed. Source and update photography, video content, and written copy to keep our digital channels engaging and relevant.

Website Management & Digital Presence

- Website Maintenance - Maintain and develop the Tapping House website, ensuring it is current, user-friendly, and search-optimised.

- SEO & Analytics - Support Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) efforts to improve Tapping House's online visibility and organic search rankings. This includes assisting with keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO audits, and monitoring backlink profiles. You will help monitor website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and assist in producing quarterly website analytics.

- Technical Liaison - Act as a liaison with external web development agencies or internal IT teams for website maintenance and updates.

Campaign Support & Performance Monitoring

- Campaign Execution - Assist in the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., awareness, fundraising appeals, service promotion) from concept to completion, with a focus on delivering high-impact content for each channel.

- Performance Monitoring - Track and analyse content performance (including SEO and PR) using data to drive continuous optimisation.

- Measurement & Reporting - Help set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for campaigns. Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, using data to inform future activities.

Internal Communications & Brand Consistency

- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with the Marketing Administrator and colleagues across the organisation to ensure Tapping House's digital presence is consistent, up to date, and reflects our brand values.

- Brand Guardianship - Work closely with the Head of Brand and Communications to ensure all website content and campaign materials adhere strictly to Tapping House's brand guidelines, maintaining an empathetic and professional tone.
