Job summary
We have a vacancy for a Housekeeper to work as part of the Hotel Services Department. You will be required to work flexibly across the Lincoln sites to support our services in our Central unit on Cardinal Close, Inpatient unit on Nettleham road and the Wellbeing Hub on Hawthorn Road.
The role entails working a on an agreed routine initially Monday to Friday mostly.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include:
Housekeeping and cleaning areas, including toilets, reception rooms, kitchenettes and office spaces and wards in line with Trust cleaning schedules.
Requirements to re stock areas with consumable items
Collection and disposal of waste in line with Trust policy and procedures
Flexibility in approach to work and conditions
Experience of working in a similar environment will be beneficial but is not essential as training will be given.
The ability to understand, and complete simple documentation as required using electronic means (computer and tablet).
The ability to be self-motivated but also work as part of a team is essential.
This role requires a person who is considerate to our staff, patients and customers, who can be responsive to changes in situation and can use basic computer skills to undertake training, receive and send information and to log work which has been undertaken. We pride ourselves on attaining high scores for cleanliness audits and for supporting our staff to achieve a good work life balance.
