Job summary
We have a vacancy for a Clinical Educator to work as part of the Education Team.
This exciting position gives the opportunity to design and deliver high quality training and education to St Barnabas colleagues, as well as external audiences such as healthcare professionals across the wider healthcare system.
The Clinical Educator will work closely with a range of people, including St Barnabas senior clinicians, external education providers and clinical experts to inform Trust practice. Whilst the role is predominantly clinically focused, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in the education delivery to non-clinical colleagues in areas such as fundraising, retail and HR.
Main duties of the job
St Barnabas is passionate about making education engaging, and our ethos is to make our training sessions interactive and memorable so people want to return and learn more!
As a Clinical Educator, you will have the opportunity to be visible right across the Hospice, working alongside clinical colleagues and student on placement, allowing you to identify needs and shape the education programmes required within our Inpatient and community settings.

- Professional clinical registration
Ideally you will have experience of working in palliative and end of life care, and have been involved in the delivery of education to a range of audiences
- Access to independent transport with a full driving licence.
- UK resident.
Hours:
22.5 hours per week.There may be the opportunity to work additional hours within other departments
Starting Salary:
£36,094 per annum, (£21,656 pro rata)
Plus contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension
Grade: O
Base:
Hawthorn Road Lincoln, although other bases within Lincolnshire will be considered.
