Job summary

The role As our Operations Manager - IUC, youll play a key leadership role across our Integrated Urgent Care services, including 111, Clinical Assessment Services, face-to-face clinical sites and contact centres. Youll work closely with clinical, quality, and service delivery teams to drive performance, improve patient outcomes, and lead continuous service improvement across multiple contracts. This is a highly visible role, where youll provide day-to-day operational oversight while also influencing strategic change across the region. Youll lead and develop Team Managers, inspire cross-functional collaboration, represent IC24 at system-level meetings, and help shape the future of urgent care delivery.

What you need A confident and collaborative leader with experience managing operations in complex, fast-paced environments Able to lead teams across multiple sites and services, including both clinical and non-clinical functions Experienced in driving performance, delivering quality improvements, and leading change An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships internally and externally Committed to inclusive leadership and supporting people to be their best Experience within urgent or primary care is welcome but not essential - were open to strong operational leaders from other sectors too.
