Operational Navigator - Overnights, Evenings and Weekends

We are looking for Operational Navigators to join our team and ensure the smooth delivery of our Integrated Urgent Care services across the regions we work in (Norfolk & Waveney, Essex, Kent, and Sussex). You will work as part of a pan-regional team providing a professional and courteous telephone response to clinical and non-clinical colleagues, navigating patient requirements efficiently, ensuring accuracy of patient information and adherence to company guidelines and procedures.

Direct liaison with patients may be required, including comfort calling when patients cannot be seen during IC24 clinical operating hours. The role has accountability for managing the patient queue and will ensure effective and timely distribution of calls to all available clinicians, via triage platforms, regional bases, or dispatch points.

Main duties of the job

The role demands high levels of visibility and understanding of available regional clinical resources during shifts. The role will also support the Duty Service Manager (SM) in maintaining service levels against KPIs and to respond to fluctuating demands. You will also have direct links with not only the SMs, but also Team and Operational Managers which will expose to a wealth of knowledge, range of various skill sets and can set you up to develop a pathway to career progression should you wish to do so in the longer term.

Location You will be based at one of our bases either in Norfolk, Essex, Ipswich, Kent, or Sussex, with the option to work part of your shift on a hybrid basis once fully trained.

Hours Full time and part time hours available covering a 24/7 operational period we are currently specifically looking for overnight weekend workersbut as this role is 24/7 there are of course other hours available
