About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our two units in Reading and Slough on a casual basis. You'll work as part of the team in carrying out admin tasks in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about BPAS services.

About You:
Ideally you will have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties. You'll be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
Day to day duties:
Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues, as necessary.
Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and reports.
We are also looking for:
Experience of dealing face to face with clients who may be angry or upset, within a care environment.
Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone, and reception duties.
Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and is an effective team player.
