About the role:
We're looking for
an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our four Merseyside units on a part time basis working 30 hours per week over 4 days. You'll work as
part of the team in carrying out admin tasks in an efficient and friendly
manner ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about
BPAS services.
This role covers four units in the Merseyside area. Please see the further information below for exact locations. Candidates will need flexibility to travel to all units weekly, mileage is paid. A rota is given in advance.
About You:
Ideally you will
have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you've
carried out administration duties. You'll be an excellent communicator both
internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude
when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
Day to day duties:
Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and
external colleagues, as necessary.
Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all
relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking
system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and
distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and
reports.
We are also looking
for:
Experience of dealing face to face with clients who may be angry or upset,
within a care environment.
Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation,
telephone, and reception duties.
Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and
is an effective team player.

Salary: £19,781 - £23,732 per annum pro rata - depending on skills and experience. We offer time and half for Saturday shifts and mileage between the units is also paid.
Hours per week: 30 hours per week. 4 x 7.5 hour days over Monday - Saturday. You will be required to work over the below 4 units - a rota is given in advance.
