About the role:
We are looking for
an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our Leicester unit. As the Admin Assistant you will be responsible for completing all administrative and client support tasks within the unit, supporting clients through their episode of care.
This is a 29.5 hours
per week role working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
About You:
You will have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you have
carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both
internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude
when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
Day to day duties:
Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and
external colleagues, as necessary.
Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all
relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking
system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and
distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and
reports.
We are also looking
for:
Experience of dealing face to face with clients who may be angry or upset,
within a care environment.
Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation,
telephone, and reception duties.
Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and an effective team player.
