We are building a modern, high-performing People function that goes beyond traditional HR operations, one that is insight-led, digitally enabled and centred around delivering an outstanding employee experience.
The Head of People Services will play a critical role in shaping and delivering this vision. As a key member of the senior leadership community, you will lead the transformation of People Services into a function that not only delivers operational excellence, but actively enables organisational performance, sustainability and growth.
This is a high-impact role with significant scope to shape how People Services operates, influence organisational decision-making, and build the infrastructure that underpins a great place to work.
You will lead the design and delivery of a modern, efficient and customer-focused People Services function, covering the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to payroll, reward and workforce data.
You will bring together systems, processes, governance and insight into a coherent, high-performing service that enables both employees and leaders to thrive.
Main duties of the job
Alongside ensuring high-quality day-to-day delivery, you will drive a programme of transformation, simplifying processes, embedding digital solutions, & strengthening data & insight to support better decision-making across the organisation
A key part of the role is acting as the senior business owner for People systems & workforce data, ensuring technology & insight are fully aligned to organisational priorities.
You will also play a visible leadership role across the organisation, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, & helping shape the future direction of the People function.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
depending on Skills and Experience
Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm andFriday 9am 3.30pm
NB: Shifts that
are longer than 6 hours, will include a 30 minutes unpaid break.
On call
All
members of the Senior Operating Team will be required to participate in an
on-call rota. The On-Call policy and procedure is being reviewed and revised,
however it is envisaged that participation will involve being available to
receive emergency / on-call telephone calls up to 9pm Monday to Friday and on
Saturdays and Sundays approximately 4 times per year.
