Here at BPAS, we are looking for an Accounts Admin Assistant to come and join our finance team. This role is a permanent, hybrid role, working 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday. You will work remotely from home with travel to our Head Office in Leamington Spa once a week.
About the role:
As an Accounts Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our financial processes. Working primarily in a purchase ledger capacity, you will be responsible for inputting invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing expense claims. Additionally, your role will extend to compiling data, responding to emails, and assisting with ad hoc requests. This position also provides you with the opportunity to contribute to the management accounts and support the annual external audit process.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role, preferably with purchase ledger responsibilities, although this is not essential. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, along with your ability to learn and use bespoke information systems, will be critical to success in this role. We value numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job
To input all
invoices/credit notes accurately and promptly, ensuring the correct authorisation is gained
Identify and ensure
all non-purchase order invoice queries are resolved promptly
To produce payment
runs in accordance with BPAS financial policy, cashflow considerations, and
supplier payment terms
To carry out reconciliations of supplier statements and identify and resolve any queries with
internal departments or direct with suppliers as appropriate
To review all expense
claims to ensure they are in line with BPAS policies, are accurate, coded correctly
and correct proof of purchase is attached
Provide an expenses
reports as and when requested for employee tax claims or for analysis purposes
Monitor accounts
specific inboxes to ensure emails are allocated to the correct person or saved
in the correct file
To design, compile and
maintain spreadsheets to improve finance processes
To undertake any
analysis or investigatory work as and when required
