BPAS are looking for a Store Person / Archiving Administrator to join the Supply-Chain, Logistics & Procurement team. You will play a crucial role insupporting front-line services by ensuring the efficient management of goods and client records. This role is for 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
Working from our Redditch Distribution Centre, you will handle incoming goods, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (such as COSHH) and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your role will also involve managing the filing, logging, and confidential disposal of client notes, ensuring compliance with retention policies and retrieving records as needed.
About You:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, record-keeping, or archiving, and be comfortable working with policies related to health & safety, infection control, and confidentiality. Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential, as you will be collaborating with various internal teams and external partners.
Main duties of the job
To undertake the unloading, systematic filing, and logging of client case notes boxes.
To undertake confidential disposal of records after the retention date has expired, using the in-house shredder.
To retrieve client notes when required. (i.e. for audits or enquires) andlog and file all client notes in line with the procedure.
To receive, check and put away all incoming goods ensuring that any damaged / short-dated items are not accepted and are reported to your line manager.
To store/ maintain / manage all goods safely and in the correct location.
To ensure temperature-controlled items are booked in and correctly stored according to policy.
To ensure that any hazardous substances are stored in accordance with COSHH regulations.
