We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our Chester Cluster for 30 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday.
Your base location will be the Chester Unit, however, you will be required to work at the Llandudno and Manchester West units on an ad-hoc basis to cover annual leave and sickness. More details can be found in the further information section below.
You'll work as part of the team in carrying out administration tasks in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about BPAS services.
About You
You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
- Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and
external colleagues, as necessary.

Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all
relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.

Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking
system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.

Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and
distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and
reports.

Experience of dealing face to face with patients who may be upset,
within a care environment.

Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation,
telephone, and reception duties.

is an effective team player.
