BPAS has an exciting opportunity for a Support Services Coordinator to join our team at our Bournemouth unit. This is a part-time, permanent role working 30 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday. Further details on shift patterns and salary can be found below.
As a Support Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of non-clinical services within the unit. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering domestic, catering, and facilities services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for both clients and staff.
Working closely with the Treatment Unit Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational management of the unit, overseeing administrative processes, coordinating facilities services, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
Main duties of the job
- Line managing a team delivering domestic, catering, and facilities services, ensuring high standards of performance and quality
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative processes, including staff attendance records and general office systems
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating purchasing to maintain continuity of services
- Coordinating facilities management, including maintenance, contractors, and planned preventative maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, COSHH, and fire safety procedures
- Supporting regulatory inspections and maintaining appropriate documentation and records
- Developing and improving administrative systems to support the efficient running of the unit
About You
You will be an organised and proactive individual with experience in administration and team leadership, ideally within a care or regulated environment. You will be confident managing competing priorities and committed to maintaining high standards across a range of support services.
You will also bring:
- Experience in an administrative role with responsibility for coordinating services and resources
- Experience of managing or supervising staff
- Knowledge of facilities management and health and safety requirements
- Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A practical, problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently
