Job summary

We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Booking & Information Centre.

Home to over 100 colleagues, the Booking & Information Centre (BIC) deal with over 6,000 contacts on a weekly basis via phone and email from clients wanting to access our reproductive healthcare services.

As a Team Manager you will manage a team of designated Appointment Advisors in the delivery of an efficient and effective client-centered service.

You will have the opportunity to work in a growing and fulfilling environment where your efforts will be fundamental in delivering a quality service to our clients.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for managing & motivating a designated team of Booking & Information Centre staff to ensure the delivery of a consistent client orientated service to defined service standards to internal & external customers.

You will contribute to the development & maintenance of internal systems, procedures, & methods of operation to achieve improved performance & a better client service.

About You

You will have a talent for managing, motivating, & developing a variety of people. Your friendly, engaging & coaching management style will help our support teams to achieve optimum levels of performance. Adept at solving problems and utilising resources your "can do" attitude will ensure that the Booking & Information Centre continues to deliver an exceptional service to our clients.

You will also bring:

  • Great leadership skills, with the ability to set direction and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and work closely within a team of Managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to calm stressful situations as well as remaining calm.
  • Previous experience working in a administrative capacity with responsibility for the utilisation of resources.
  • Self-motivation, a drive to get the best out of people and to achieve results.

Salary - £29,031 - £36,684 depending on experience + time and half for any weekend working.

Hours - 36 hours per week - Full time

Shift Pattern - 2 weeks of earlies, 2 weeks of afternoons. (3 day weekend off on each shift change from late to earlies Sat-Mon)

Early - Mon (alternate) 07:00-15:00 |Tues to Thurs 07:00-15:00 | Friday 07:00-13:00 | Saturday (alternate) 08:00-16:00

Afternoon - Monday 13:00-19:00 | Tues to Fri 11:00-19:00
