Job summary
As part of the Hospice Multi-Disciplinary Team the Occupational Therapy service delivers high quality interventions for palliative patients across all clinical areas of practice with a focus on palliative rehabilitation, self-management and independence. The Hospice Occupational Therapy team alongside the Physiotherapy team are leaders in the development and promotion of the Rehabilitative Palliative Care model as well as the on-going work to establish the Living Well service.
Main duties of the job
This role will work closely with the Therapies Lead to develop and deliver the Occupational Therapy service across all areas of hospice clinical practice (Inpatient Unit, Community Services, Living Well). The Therapies Team sits within Clinical Services and reports directly to the Associate Director for Clinical Services.
