We are seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our multi-professional team providing palliative nursing care interventions for patients and their families in the community. Our Healthcare Assistants are responsible for the observation of patients and the provision of care in accordance with the management plans under the supervision of a Team Leader for patients in their homes. Qualifications

Essential

• Level 3 Diploma in health and Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards.

Desirable

• Care Certificate

Experience

Essential

• Recent experience in a healthcare setting in general /community nursing.
• Ability to demonstrate good communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Able to work in the community and have access to a car.
• Have valid or prepared to obtain business class insurance for vehicle.

Desirable

• Experience in palliative care.
• Computer literate
• Ability to adapt to change within the working situation
