Job summary
We have a unique opportunity for a School Therapist to join Northpoint's School Services at Ashbrow Primary School in Huddersfield.
This role will involve delivering one-to-one short-term, evidenced based therapeutic interventions to primary school aged children referred through the school. You will be working closely with the school staff and other stakeholders to provide emotional and mental health support. As a School Therapist, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving the wellbeing of children and young people.

- Providing evidence-based individual interventions in the school setting.
- Collaborating with the School team to identify appropriate practitioners or CAMHS pathways for onward referrals.
- Offering consultation, support and advice to school staff and professionals as needed.
- Working within the school to provide support where required.
- Ensuring safeguarding concerns are addressed appropriately and contributing to safeguarding processes.
- Maintaining confidential records in line with Northpoint's procedures.
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure therapeutic services are evidence-based and tailored to the client group.
- Communicating with parents and families according to Northpoint's guidelines.
