Job summary
Are you a Nursing Associate or Associate Practitioner wanting to gain the skills, knowledge, and competencies relevant to the community?Do you want to develop your career within a clinically led organisation, at the forefront of the revolution of adult community nursing?Are you passionate for high quality patient care and experience?We are seeking a highly motivated professional to work within a wider team of nurses and health care assistants. You will work under the direction of a District Nurse and Registered Nurses, to assess, implement and evaluate person centred care for a caseload of patients, undertaking venepuncture, complex wound care and catheterisation.
Post holders will be available to work Monday to Sunday between 8am and 8pm. A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use if required for this post, however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Please note that you must be a registered nurse associate or associate practitioner for this role.

Main duties of the job
We recognise that a highly skilled community nursing workforce is the cornerstone to safe patient care and avoiding unnecessary admission to hospital and have lots training and development opportunities available, alongside a career development pathway with opportunities for development at every level through to band 3 to band 8.As a Band 4 Nursing Associate or Associate Practitioner you will work as part of a local team, working closely with the local acute hospital, social care, mental health teams, GPs, and Practice Nurse. You will utilise clinical skills and effective risk assessments, adhering to evidence-based policies and empowering individuals.We use the electronic clinical record, EMIS. A work Ipad and Iphone provided.
