You will coach senior leaders, drive accountability, and spearhead initiatives in change management, talent development, resource planning, and employee relations.

As a proactive partner to our Executive Management and Senior Leadership Teams, you'll offer commercial and strategic People insights that align with our business goals. Your impact will be instrumental in guiding us through our next phase of growth.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior People Business Partner at HUC, you'll play a critical role in supporting our NHS 111 services by driving strategic people initiatives that directly impact service delivery, workforce experience, and patient care. You'll be a trusted partner to operational leaders, using your expertise to influence workforce planning, engagement, and performance management across a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

In this role, you will lead on complex employee relations matters, coach leaders through organisational change, and ensure that people strategies are aligned with both HUC's values and the evolving needs of our commissioners. You'll use data and insight to inform decision-making, identify workforce trends, and co-develop solutions that improve retention, capability, and employee wellbeing across our contact centre and clinical workforce.

You'll also play a key part in leading and embedding people-focused projects, such as talent management, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, working collaboratively with our wider People team.
