We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Systems Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Clinical Systems Manager and working closely with our IT Team you will maintain the Hospices Electronic Patient Record (EMIS) and support the applications users through a combination of troubleshooting and training.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will work across the clinical teams, building your knowledge of EMIS to provide day to daysupport as well as training new starters. You'll understand the processes, challenges, and opportunities withineach clinical team and have the ability to help deliver system and process improvements.
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, a desire to develop new skills and learn newsystems, whilst striving to provide great customer service. By using your communication and problem solvingskills you'll be supporting our teams to provide great care to patients, their families and carers.

Administering user accounts, assignment of role-based access levels, periodic audits of accounts with appropriate actions taken
Password resets for users working on-site and out in the community
Maintaining EMIS configuration as directed by the Clinical Systems Manager, including periodic exports of EMIS templates, maintenance of configuration lists and other records
Preparing EMIS outage devices for planned maintenance
Assisting Clinical Systems Manager in carrying out regular audits
Creation of word based EMIS templates
Working with the Data Team to run ad-hoc queries and maintain monthly data exports from EMIS
User Support
Monitoring EMIS inbox for queries & responding accordingly
Escalation of issues to the Clinical Systems Manager or EMIS Support, monitoring & tracking of issues through to resolution
Performing administrative actions & corrections to ensure patient records remain available
Supporting a range of users with issues, assisting to identify workarounds and resolutions
Documenting known issues and workarounds to be shared with teams
Supporting users with tablet devices to use the EMIS Mobile application
Training & Guidance
Inducting new EMIS users, delivering introductory sessions designed by the Clinical Services Manager
Running refresher sessions for users to ensure they are aware of &can utilise best practice
