St Peters Hospice provide palliative care to adults in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and parts of North Somerset and Bath & North-East Somerset through a range of services, including community care, in-patient care and day services.
We have a great opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Hospice.
Working as a member of the Day Service and Therapy team, you will provide evidence-based, compassionate, person centred care to patients living with a life limiting condition.
Working collaboratively with the hospice multidisciplinary and external teams, you will focus on patients goals using empowerment, enablement, and self-management to maximise their wellbeing.

You must have a clean driving licence and access to a car.
Due to the nature of the work involved, this role will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Main duties of the job
To work as a member of the hospice Therapy and Day Service team to provide high quality physiotherapy to patients and carers across the Hospice services, including those with non-cancer conditions, such as Heart Failure, Respiratory and Neurological conditions.
To use a rehabilitation model to enable and empower patients to live as independently as possible within the limitations of advancing disease.
Provide evidence-based therapy using client centred principles.
