Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us at St Peters Hospice as our Infection Prevention and Control Lead.
The successful candidate will sit within our dynamic Clinical Quality Improvement Team, who are committed to ensuring safe, high-quality care within our clinical services.
The post holder will work collaboratively within all clinical teams and senior managers. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, adaptable and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a strong ability to manage change.
You will be required to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Due to the nature of the work involved, this role is exempt from the ROA and the jobholder will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK before they apply for a vacancy and be able to provide evidence of this.
What we can offer you:
- Band 7 equivalent salary from £44,100 up to £50,566(FTE) per annum, dependant on experience
- Working 30 hours per week (core office hours) over a 4 day period

- Leadership and management of Infection Control within St Peters Hospice Clinical Teams

in relation to IPC to promote a safe high-quality clinical service and
report and share as per process.

appropriate.
- Act
when there are new or continuous risk associated with Infection,
Prevention and Control in the organisation.
