Main duties of the job
As a General Practitioner, you will provide patient consultations, duty doctor cover, and home visits in line with the GMS contract, considering physical, psychological, and social factors. You'll maintain accurate patient records, prescribe treatments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists when necessary. Adhering to clinical protocols and governance requirements, you will promote health education and complete clinical administration, audits, and third-party reports. Effective communication with the multidisciplinary team and maintaining patient confidentiality are essential, alongside participating in practice meetings, ongoing professional development, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Team: 3 partners, 2 salaried GPs, ANP, Pharmacist, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 prescribers, HCA, Phlebotomist, and support from the PCN team (ACPs, Mental Health Nurse, Pharmacist, Social Prescribers, Wellbeing Coach, Care Co-ordinator, and Midwife.
Patient List:over 8,500 and growing.
