Main duties of the job

This post is predominately for night duty on the inpatient unit but the post-holder may, on occasions, be required to rotate to day duty. A night shift runs from 20:00 07:45am, therefore, 33.75hrs equates to 3 night shifts per week.

Desirable

  • Previous care of patients in a health care setting.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English at C grade or higher
  • Completion of care certificate
  • If no previous care experience- will be supported to complete care certificate.

Desirable

  • NVQ in care or equivalent.

  • Demonstrate proficient skills in written and verbal communication in the English language.
