Sitting Service

£11.44 - £11.96 Per
Hour
Location: Based at ellenor Hospice, Coldharbour Road, Gravesend,
Kent and will be working in
the community
Hours: 22:00-06:00 as required.
We
are looking to expand our night sitting service and are looking for Flexibank
Health care assistants who are happy working with patients and families on a 1-
2 -1 basis. You will be offering a waking-night service to support and reassure
patients in the final stages of their illness.
ellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend
providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community. At ellenor,

Main duties of the job
- Maintain a respectful, non-judgmental and caring attitude towards patient and family
- Being involved with all aspects of care for patients in their own homes.
- Delivering the highest quality holistic patient care, including personal care.
- Assist with meals, feed patients where necessary and undertake any other duties that are considered to fall within the scope of the health care assistant role.
- Maintain all relevant documentation to the highest standards in line with mandatory legal requirements paying particular attention to accuracy using electronic reporting systems (Emis).

- Hold a full UK driving licence
