Main duties of the job

This is a new role to assist the current service manager within a close and supportive team of both clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure effective service provision. Whilst the role is fast moving with activity stepped up rapidly in response to changes regarding asylum estate, the environment is calm and there is a focus on resilience and teamwork.

The role is critical to the successful delivery of the Refugee and Asylum Seeker, which operates 7 days a week 0800-20:00, covering asylum accommodation and continues to grow at pace. The service is also strengthened by the close collaboration with 30+ voluntary sector organisations who are key to the wider support needed for refugees and asylum seekers.
