Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor to join our training team. The postholder
will be responsible for the delivery of BLS training to clinical and non-clinical
staff in line with Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) guidelines at various
locations. This role is key to ensuring staff are competent and confident in
responding to life-threatening emergencies in healthcare and community
settings.
Main duties of the job
Deliver high-quality BLS training sessions,
including adult, paediatric, and neonatal CPR, use of automated external
defibrillators (AEDs), and management of choking.

Primary duties and areas of
responsibility
Facilitate practical training, skills
assessments, and scenario-based learning in accordance with Resuscitation

Maintain accurate records of training
attendance, certification, and staff compliance.
Contribute to the development and review of
training materials, ensuring up-to-date evidence-based practice.
Support the wider clinical education team in the
delivery of mandatory training programmes.
Participate in audits, evaluations, and quality
improvement projects related to resuscitation training.
Maintain and monitor resuscitation equipment
used during training, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
