Main duties of the job

You`re a confident, compassionate leader who brings energy, insight and integrity to everything you do. You care about getting things right for children and young people, and you know how to support others to deliver safe, effective and meaningful mental health support.

You`ll bring:

 A recognised qualification in a relevant area such as social work, nursing or psychology  Registration with a professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC)  Experience delivering CBT and working with children and young people with complex needs  A supervision qualification or willingness to complete one  Experience leading or managing teams in a multi-agency setting  Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and mental health legislation  Analytical skills with confidence using data, systems and digital tools to improve services  Excellent communication, planning and workload management skills

You might also bring BABCP accreditation, experience supporting inclusive practice, or involvement in service improvement work. But most of all, you bring the values, resilience and drive to lead with purpose and empathy.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Relevant degree (e.g., social work, psychology, psychotherapy, nursing), or equivalent. Must be registered with the appropriate governing body, such as the HCPC or NMC and must be committed to maintaining registration if applicable
  • Supervision qualification, or willingness to complete Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision

Desirable

  • Accredited training in evidence-based psychological treatment, ideally BABCP Accreditation
  • Certificate in Supervision - CBT
  • Masters level qualification in relevant discipline
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent
  • Level 3 or above Leadership or management qualification
  • or equivalent

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of team management and / or leadership role
  • Knowledge of CBT and previous/current experience of providing CBT
