Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Public Health Nurse committed to improving the outcomes for children, young people and families in Warwickshire? Do you want to join our innovative and dynamic skill mix team delivering a progressive school nursing service?
We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to lead one of our school nursing teams in Warwickshire. This is a fixed term role covering maternity leave and runs from October 2023 - December 2024.
As the Interim School Nurse Team Leader, you will lead and manage staff within the Nuneaton team. You will be required to line manage staff to deliver a range of assessments, brief interventions and proactive public health initiatives. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family.
You will provide professional leadership, management and teaching to practitioners so that they can deliver efficient, effective and safe, Connect for Health services.
This is an all year-round contract and working hours are Mon Fri, 37 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The Connect for Health is an accessible, outcome-focused service that delivers key elements of the Healthy Child Programme. Our objective is to improve the health and wellbeing of school-aged children and young people in Warwickshire and reduce health inequalities.
You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced nurse with a post graduate qualification in public health nursing or healthcare leadership with at least 2 years experience in a leadership role.
