We are looking for a dynamic nurse with both clinical and leadership skills to take the nursing team forward, supporting a culture aligned to our FREDIE principles (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement). You will actively work with your colleagues and Head of Inpatient Services including contributing to Patient Services Directorate.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities of a Clinical Nurse Manager

  • The Clinical Nurse Manager will create, lead, and be responsible for maintaining a nursing culture which is open to change, new ideas, concepts and innovation. They will provide inspirational and motivational clinical leadership to their team of nurses to ensure the highest standards of nursing care. They are a role model for all staff and will excel at collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.

You will:

  • Provide visible and effective leadership and management to all directly and indirectly managed staff which will achieve the IPUs purpose and Trinitys vision and values.
  • Be part of developing and maintaining an organisational culture which is inclusive and empowering, promotes trust, respect and responsibility and delivers positive and sustainable change.
  • Be part of developing and maintaining organisational systems and processes which support the delivery of high-quality integrated patient care, team working and communication.
  • Actively contribute to the Patient Services Directorate and hospice Senior Leadership Team, taking individual and corporate responsibility for effectiveness and development
