Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established clinical administration service at St Richards Hospice. This new role has been recognised as pivotal to support the day to day working of the hospice Integrated Community Service. The appointed individual will work within the Integrated Community Service, supporting the administrative needs of the service.

The role is full time Monday Friday. The post holder will also be required to provide weekend cover for the hospice In-patient Unit on a rota basis approximately every 5 weeks; this will also include covering Bank Holidays equitably with colleagues. There are enhancements for weekend work.

This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Main duties of the job

The role will require a flexible individual with good emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills who can manage conflicting demands on their time. The post holder will have prior administrative experience and will bring a professional and steadfast approach to the role. The post holder will be able to work independently and autonomously but will also be able to work as part of a team.
