Job summary
We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated GP
Practice Administrator (experience is advantageous) to join our practice
situated in Waltham Forest.
Penrhyn Surgery is a forward-thinking training
practice of over 9000 patients. Our warm and friendly surgery is led by two GP
partners, and doctors and has a diverse multi-disciplinary team consisting of
nurses, pharmacists and health care assistants. The practice is also supported
and managed by a strong and experienced team of managers, practice leads, admin
and reception staff.
Main duties of the job
The role of our Administrator requires an individual who has a keen focus on detail and organisation.
Proficiency in EMIS, Microsoft Outlook ERS referrals and Patient Triage

We are a private limited company who provides NHS Services based in Primary Care, pooling the skills and resources of local GPs to provide large-scale services as part of the local NHS Strategy to bring more services into the Community to help people stay well and at home.

Job responsibilities
- To Support the staff in the reception and administrative
side by doing Patient triage in morning rush hours.
- To support the tasks by delivering timely
referrals, and documentation management provided in the clinical system
specific to patients as directed by the clinical team.

To support the introduction of any new
methodology or systems upgrade.

To initiate and process electronic referrals.

To process patient correspondence using the
current document management system,

To participate in coding patients' records in
line with coding protocols.

Ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Makes effective and considerate decisions but
understands when to seek advice and guidance.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
