About us

We are an NHS general practice (GP) doctors surgery providing healthcare services in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

Our practice aims to improve the health of those living in the Wythenshawe area, working closely with many local community services to achieve this.

There has been a doctors surgery at Tregenna (Wythenshawe, Manchester) since 1952, originally in the ground floor of a doctors house. In 1986 the surgery was extensively rebuilt and extended to provide the facilities to meet the demands of modern general practice.

The present doctor partnership aims to provide up to date and efficient medical care whilst retaining the friendly and accessible nature of the traditional family doctor.

Although the South Manchester GP Federation are supporting the recruitment process for this role, employment will be done solely by Tregenna Group Practice.
