You will be working closely with schools in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and will be part of a diverse staff team delivering a large NHS contract.These opportunities allow you to gain a post-graduate diploma from Kings College London whilst also earning a salary with us.
Main duties of the job
We are
seeking to recruit 3 Trainee CWPs to provide guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions to children and
young people. These posts are salaried at NHS Agenda for Change band 4 and
fully funded for a one year post graduate diploma in Child Wellbeing Practice
through Kings College London. Further intensive supervision and on the job
training will be provided by an experienced supervisor.
During
training, the post-holders will work under close supervision to gain experience
across education and community settings to enable them to gain the level of
competence required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based early interventions
for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health
problems.
Applicants
will need to be ready to start work by early January 2025 and posts
cannot be offered to candidates unless they can guarantee this start date. Candidates
will also need to apply to Kings College London (KCL) for a place on the Postgraduate
Diploma in Children's Wellbeing Practice (CWP). On successful completion of
the course, students will graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Child
Wellbeing Practice. They will be able to deliver evidence based early
interventions to children and young people and their families.

Therapeutic
skills
- Assess
and deliver, under supervision outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to

the required standards.
