This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new and innovative suicide prevention service. The service has been designed to provide a more joined-up approach to supporting those experiencing mental health and financial difficulties by providing mental health support in local Citizens Advice premises. We're looking for a Mental Health Advisor to deliver workshops, groups and low intensity 1:1 psychoeducation and self-help support.
You'll work closely with individuals experiencing early signs of distress such as anxiety, depression, or stress supporting their recovery through early intervention, social inclusion, and empowerment. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing referrals, and building positive relationships with local partners and services.

Main duties of the job
Delivering 1:1 and group mental health support
Running workshops and psychoeducational sessions
Supporting clients through early intervention approaches
Managing referrals and maintaining client records
Promoting the service and collaborating with partner agencies
