Job summary
This is an exciting time to join our expandingChildren and Young Peoples Services. We are looking to recruit ahighly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Art Psychotherapist for sessional part time hours.
Main duties of the job
You will be a part of our Children and Young People (CYP) Services and will work to support the newly established Mental Health Hubs in Westminster. This will involve working within community-based youth settings, such as after school clubs and youth clubs to embed Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health activities and events in the annual calendar and support young people aged 11-25. You will do so by providing art therapy as a mental health intervention.
The aims of the Mental Health Hubs are to meet identified needs and gaps in mental health provision within Westminster and to promote a culture that is supportive of Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health for all stakeholders.
You will deliver high-quality patient-focused care to children and young people (CYP)within the boroughs of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. You will offer1:1 and group art therapy to CYPaccessing our early intervention and prevention Mental Health Hubs acrossvarious locations within Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea, Great Western Studios and Head Office at 23 Monck Street, SW1P 2AU.
