Here at Leonard Cheshire Disability we have a great job role opportunity available as a Registered Nurse to work in a wonderful and vibrant resident home called Bradbury House in County Durham.
Full time, 36 hours per week/ Part time 12-24 hours per week.
Nights shifts available.
Night Shift 20.00 to 08.00 night shift.
Basic hourly rate - £19.35 per hour, up to £21.35 per hour with enhancement.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Bradbury House in Crook, County Durham, is home for 24 adults with physical disabilities.
As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire youll be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support, while promoting independence and choice to our customers. Leading a team of support staff you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritising, planning and delegating activities for the support team.
Main duties of the job
You will:
- Be a registered nurse (current registration with NMC).
- Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Be able to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Work flexibly within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
