Job summary

Are you seeking a great opportunity, that gives you the chance to study while you work?

Come and join our fantastic and innovative team at Greater Manchester Primary Care Board which will give you experience with working alongside all four disciplines, General Practice, Dentistry, Ophthalmology and Community Pharmacy. Your role will be to support the administration function which includes, arranging meetings and online events and basic finance tasks. This is a great way to kick start your career within the NHS and give you exposure to the various pathways you could potentially choose upon completion of your qualifications.

Our team will be there to support and guide you through your Level 3 Business and Administration course which all fees will be paid for.

The successful candidate will be based in Bolton Town Centre but may be asked to travel in and around Greater Manchester should it be required.

Main duties of the job

Your main duties alongside your studies will include;

1. Finance Support

a. Process work for example, sending invoices to managers to get approval

b. Saving email approvals onto NHS Futures

c. Sending coded invoices for payment

d. Chase suppliers for invoices

2. Meeting/Event support

a. Find and book rooms as required

b. Attend F2F events as support to wider team

c. Provide online webinar support

3. Administration support

a. Preparing for meetings

b. Sending out comms

c. Monitoring generic inbox and replying to straightforward queries

d. Arranging meetings

You will be working with the Board Secretariat to support the Greater Manchester Primary Care Board.

Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) brings together the four primary care disciplines of community pharmacy, dentistry, general practice and optometry.

Established in 2015, we aim to improve quality within our circa 1,800 primary care providers across Greater Manchester to deliver better outcomes for our communities.

A key part ofGreater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership(GMICP), the PCB operates at three levels neighbourhood, place (10 Greater Manchester boroughs) and system and has a single vision and strategy to drive transformation.

This will support and develop your skills within the company. You will provide a range of administration support to the board secretariat and project team of the Greater Manchester Primary Care Board.

The role will be office based with an expectation of full-time attendance at the office located in Bolton town centre.

Applicants may choose to apply to work 4 or 5 days per week.
