Main duties of the job
As a Team nurse you will responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of the children and young people.
You will have experience in clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivering care which will be evidence based in conjunction with Julias House policies and procedures to deliver safe care to children and young people with complex needs that will often change. Also the confidence to use your clinical judgement and make autonomous decisions about nursing care requirements.
Team Nurses participate in our on call rota system providing telephone advice for staff and families and you will have Day-to-day management of the client base, including the deployment, supervision and teaching of Care Team members. But you will also have the opportunity to broaden your skills with excellent training and development.

Each family we support is unique and so is the care we provide. When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart.

Essential
- -Registered Sick Childrens Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch) Diploma or Degree or
- -Registered Learning Disability Nurse or
- -RGN or
- -RN Adult
- -Two years relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 or above
- Safeguarding Awareness Level 3
Desirable
- -Counselling training and/or care of the dying and bereaved course or experience
- -ENB 998 or equivalent teaching and assessing course

- Experience of caring for and working alongside families in their own environment
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Understanding of equal opportunities
Desirable
- Experience of working with children who have life limiting/life threatening conditions
