Become a key member of our Wiltshire Nursing Team and provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life threatening conditions at our Devizes Hospice and in the children's own homes across Wiltshire.
Main duties of the job
You will provide care at our hospice and in the children's own home. The successful candidate will have
experience of caring for sick
children in their own environment and have the ability to work both in a
team and independently or with minimal supervision.
You will be RSCN/RN (Child Branch) - Diploma or Degree, Registered Learning Disabiity Nurse, RGN or RN Adult.
You will work with a team of Carers, Nursing Associates, Nurses, Team Nurses, Senior Team Nurses and Lead Nurses in a supportive environment.
This role is 30 hours per week.
Flexibility is required to cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays and
occasional overnights. There are no set hours for contracted staff, our
care is provided at the times requested by our families and is therefore
variable. Rotas are prepared 6 weeks in advance.

threatening conditions.
When necessary, provide a flexible and responsive
approach to support the requirements of end of life care.

a nurse you will responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical nursing
care to meet the diverse individual needs of the children and young
people. You will have experience in
clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivering care which will be
evidence based in conjunction with Julias House policies and procedures to
deliver safe care to children and young
people with complex needs that will often change.
