Job summary

Julias House is not a typical childrens hospice. We provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Housekeeper who can join our team of Hospice Support Staff in Devizes. With a can-do attitude and the ability to work on their own initiative, the successful candidate will help ensure the Hospice is always clean and welcoming for the children, families, visitors and staff.

Main duties of the job

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of working in a healthcare environment and who is familiar with infection control procedures. Generally the hours will be worked over three days with a start time of 7.30am, however there will be a requirement for work to be completed on some evenings, weekends and bank holidays, when our service to the families dictate the need.

If you have a calm and helpful manner; are adaptable and able to work with sensitivity and have a genuine passion to see Julias House succeed, then this could be the role for you.
