our dedicated team atEast Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH) as a Care
Manager at the Nook hospice.
As a Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of outstanding palliative care services. Working alongside another Care Manager and reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and their families.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the delivery of care services and manage daily operations.
- Lead and support Team Leaders and care coordination teams.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and contribute to service development.
- Manage rotas, on-call arrangements, and resource allocation.
- Support recruitment, induction, and staff development.
- Collaborate with external partners and represent EACH at key meetings.
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and safeguarding processes

- Professional knowledge acquired through degree or diploma or other professional training relevant to childrens palliative care.

- Demonstrated experience of managing a professional multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of leadership skills, motivation and development of people
- Experience of managing safeguarding issues
