Job summary

This in an exciting new opportunity to work as part of the multidisciplinary team at Michael Sobell Hospice, supported by Harlington Hospice.

You will work closely with the Matron, Clinical Nurse Educator and Senior team to provide specialist palliative care on the In Patient Unit to patients within the Borough of Hillingdon.

We are currently a 10 bedded unit hoping to increase our beds to 14.

Harlington Hospice is the registered provider delivering care at the Michael Sobell Hospice, Northwood. We are looking for Registered Nurses with natural leadership quality to join the friendly and passionate team providing high quality person centred care for our patients and their loved ones. Everyone who works with us brings a unique insight and diverse set of skills contributing immeasurably to the support we offer those in our community living alongside a serious or terminal illness.

We provide essential End of Life and Palliative Care for the population living in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The Hospice is much loved by the community and our team is proud to have helped so many people. We have a designated IT Team who have enhanced Virtual technology enabling patients and families to explore Virtual Reality from their bedside.

The Hospice is a proactive member of an integrated care system, subsequently working collaboratively with our community and acute colleagues, ensuring the appropriate people within Hillingdon and the surrounding areas get the best care experience in the most convenient way.

Supporting families in a time of need is very important to Harlington Hospice so we are delighted to have an opportunity to increase our Junior Sister team and very much welcome passionate and caring individuals to apply for this role.
