Job Advert: General Practitioners with Dermatology Experience

Location: Coventry & Warwickshire Pay: £110 per Face-to-Face Clinic, £95 per Telephone Clinic Commissioned by: Coventry and Warwickshire ICB.

The pay rate is the hourly rate for sessional work and each clinic is usually 4.5 hours long

Main duties of the job

Clinic Types Available

• See and Treat Clinics: Ideal for GPs with dermoscopy and cryotherapy experience.
• Minor Ops Clinics: Suitable for GPs with minor operations skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dermatological assessments and treatments within a primary care setting.
• Utilise your dermascope and cryotherapy skills in See and Treat Clinics.
• Perform minor surgical procedures in Minor Ops Clinics.
• Collaborate with Consultant Dermatologists who will triage referrals.
• Ensure timely patient management, aiming to see patients within six weeks of referral.

Requirements

• GMC registered General Practitioner with experience in dermatology.
• Proficiency in dermoscopy and cryotherapy.
• Experience in minor operations (for Minor Ops Clinics).
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
• Ability to work independently in a community clinic environment.
